The Big Give Christmas Challenge Starts at Noon on 29th November
The appeal opens today at 12.00 noon and runs to noon on the 6th December.
During the "week of giving" donations to our appeal will be match funded - so your donation will be worth double to the Trust.

Our aim is to raise the funds to obtain the buffers, chimney and safety valve cover to the original pattern from 1918 to ensure our loco is as close to the "as built" condition as possible.
Sadly, for this year's campaign we have not secured any external funds from a champion as we did for the last two years (we strongly suspect that the champions are supporting charities more closely involved with current national and worldwide crises - we are, afterall a fairly "niche" sector). However, our own "pledgers" have come up with a substantial pot to match fund donations and with your support we can still raise a substantial sum and source the parts.
We do appreciate that in these difficult times not everyone will be able to help as they would like but spreading the message about our campaign as widely as possible can only help.
