Our loco is currently in the shed at Toddington and since restoration work re-started after the railway's shutdown we have been busy:

  • wheelsets back from South Devon and painting underway,
  • valve chest boring completed,
  • preparations for cylinder chest boring,
  • ...

Early evening on 14th August, our wheelsets have arrived back at Toddington from  South Devon Engineering.

Work continues at South Devon

Even though all work has stopped at our Toddington base the contractors at South Devon Engineering have been able to make excellent progress with our wheelsets.
