Firstly we are delighted to welcome "Model Railway Quest" and author Dawn Quest to the Trust as one of our contributors and collaborators.
Dawn is extremely well known in the Model Railway world - check out her numerous videos on YouTube including the one below.
Recently it has been suggested in some of the media that interest in Model Railways was waning, this seemed to eminate from the recent decision to cease The Warley show at The NEC and the announcement that Hattons was ceasing business.
The Warley decision may be more to do with cost and the hours that are needed to run that show.
Dawn decided it was time to celebrate some of the women who are model railway fans and active in the hobby.
We thought this was important as it resonates with our Sisters of Steam innitative - we hope you enjoy the video which shows some amazing "Sisters of Model Railways".
